Karen Adamson, MA, LMHC

Karen is a 1997 graduate from State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo, New York. She double majored in Sociology and Women's Studies. She received her Master of Arts Degree in Counselling in 2005 from New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Karen is a Licensed Mental Health Counsellor and has experience working with Adolescents and adults in a variety of out patient settings, including individual, group and family counselling, case management, crises intervention, advocacy and psycho-education.

Experiential techniques and an understanding of developmental and psycho-dynamic principles are woven into existential, meaning -centered approach.

Specific areas of her expertise include
